Boston, MA – February 20, 2024 – Get Konnected, a leading organization dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion, is pleased to announce the upcoming recognition of 10 outstanding community organizations that have been instrumental in amplifying, elevating, and celebrating the Black and Asian communities in the Greater Boston area.
The honorees, comprising a diverse group of unsung heroes within the Black and Asian communities, have been selected for their exceptional contributions to their respective communities. Through their relentless dedication, these organizations have made a profound impact and have been at the forefront of fostering unity, empowerment, and positive change.
The 10 distinguished organizations to be honored by Get Konnected are:
- Massachusetts Women of Color Coalition
- Wah Lum Kung Fu and Tai Chi Academy
- National Association of Asian American Professionals – Boston
- The Chinatown Project
- Boston Asian American Film Festival
- Leadership Brainery
- Greater Groove Hall Main Streets
- The Clubhouse Network
- Economic Mobility Pathways
- The Asian Community Fund

The honorees will be celebrated at a special awards ceremony, where they will be acknowledged for their significant achievements and the positive impact they have had on the lives of individuals within their communities. The event will provide an opportunity to highlight the remarkable initiatives and initiatives undertaken by these organizations, as well as to showcase the importance of recognizing and supporting community-driven efforts.
