Joyce Augustus

Joyce Augustus is founder and President of JCassand, Inc., an online fashion accessories retail store for both men and women. She is a leader with over 15 years of experience in leadership, management and financial analysis within the private, public and non-profit sectors. Prior to starting JCassand, Inc. in 2018, Joyce worked as a professional Consultant for Robert Half Management Resource working as Accounting Manager and Financial Analyst. In previous years, Joyce has worked as a financial analyst at the Worcester Telegram and Gazette and the TJX Companies.

Over the past 15 years, Joyce has served on various boards and committees. She is the current Chair of the Board of Directors for the Greater Worcester Community foundation and Chair of the Leadership Advisory Council for Entrepreneurship for All (EFORALL). She also serves on the Worcester Regional Research Bureau Board of Directors, United Way of Central Massachusetts Women’s Initiative Leadership Council and the Town of Northbridge Economic Development Committee.

As a former President of the Board of Directors at the YWCA Central Massachusetts, Joyce had the honor of leading a team of professionals during the launch of the public phase of the Capital Campaign in June 2018 to raise $7.5 million to support the $24-million Capital Renovation. She oversaw the launch of the capital improvement project in January 2020, while continuing to support the YWCA’s mission and position as a key leader and driving force in the fight for racial and gender equity in the Worcester Community.

She earned an MBA in Finance/Marketing from Nichols College, Dudley, MA where she was inducted into the Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society for Business. She earned dual B.S. degrees in Management and Accounting from Antillean Adventist University, Mayaguez, PR and dual A.A. degrees in Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising from Newbury College, Brookline, MA.
