MAWOCC’s 2026 Annual Boards & Commissions Virtual Training, in partnership with UMass Boston’s Center for Women in Politics and Public Policy, will help participants better understand how boards and commissions work, the responsibilities of serving, and the importance of Women of Color being represented in these spaces.

We are women of color who identify as Black (or African Descent), Latina or Hispanic (non-white), Asian, Middle Eastern, Native American, or of indigenous descent. We envision a Commonwealth of authentic inclusion where racism and sexism no longer dictate the outcomes of women of color and our communities.
