ALL WOMEN ARE WELCOME!
Worcester, MA – Massachusetts Women of Color Coalition (MAWOCC) proudly presents a Day of Holistic Healing and Wellness, a dynamic and transformative day focused on sisterhood, healing, and connection – centered on the experiences of women of color but open to all women. This event is part of MAWOCC’s 10th Anniversary Celebration series.

WHERE: Clark University – Higgins Center, 950 Main Street, Worcester, MA
EVENT DETAILS: This event will include self-care and wellness activities and services; breakfast, lunch, afternoon sessions that include high school girls programming, keynote speaker, global public health expert, Joia S. Mukherjee, MD, MPH, followed by a moderated conversation by Magnolia Contreras; Vice-President of Community Health, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute; breakout sessions on Mental Health, Maternal Health, Thriving through Trauma and Stress and Holistic Healing, a vendor marketplace, closing cocktail and networking reception.
ABOUT MAWOCC: Founded in 2015, The Massachusetts Women of Color Coalition is dedicated to eradicating the racial inequities among women of color created by structural, institutional, interpersonal, and internalized racism. We address racial inequities through authentic inclusion in the areas of political & civic leadership, education justice, economic power and sustainability, criminal justice, and health and wellness. Our success will maximize the benefits and contributions for all aggrieved communities of color and the Commonwealth as a whole.
