Worcester, MA – The Massachusetts Women of Color Coalition (MAWOCC) is proud to announce the grand opening of its new Headquarter offices today in Worcester, MA.

Dedicated to eradicating racial inequities among women of color created by structural, institutional, interpersonal, and internalized racism, the organization is a state-wide, nonprofit, nonpartisan organization proud to realize a dream of opening its own office where their innovative programs and advocacy will continue and thrive. As part of its 10th year anniversary, this is one of many accomplishments the organization has achieved.

EVENT DETAILS: Today’s program will include a tour of MAWOCC’s Headquarters, a speaking program to include remarks by President and CEO and Founding Member Celia Johnston Blue, MA Senators Michael Moore and Robyn Kennedy, Worcester City Manager Eric Batista, and a video congratulating MAWOCC from Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren. Closing remarks will be given by MAWOCC Board Member and Founding Member Brenda Jenkins, followed by a Ribbon Cutting and a networking reception until 8:00 PM.
